The 2026 International Conference on Aerospace Engineering and Aerospace Information (ICAEAI 2026) will be held on June 26–28, 2026 in Hangzhou, China.

Hangzhou, abbreviated as Hang, historically known as Lin'an and Qiantang, serves as the capital of Zhejiang Province, a sub-provincial city, the core city of the Hangzhou Metropolitan Area, a megacity, and one of the central cities in the Yangtze River Delta. Located in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta and at the western end of Hangzhou Bay, Hangzhou functions as the extension intersection of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, as well as a strategic hub city for the Silk Road Economic Belt. As of the end of 2023, Hangzhou covered a land area of 16,850 square kilometers, administered 10 districts, 1 county-level city, and 2 counties. It achieved a regional GDP of 1.8753 trillion yuan, with a permanent resident population of 12.522 million.
Hangzhou features a subtropical monsoon climate. Topographically, it lies at the junction of low mountains and hills extending from the Tianmu Mountain range and the surrounding plains. The southwestern region consists of low mountains and hills, with the highest peak, Tianzhu Mountain, reaching 413 meters above sea level. Other peaks such as Nanfeng Peak and Geling Peak range between 300 and 100 meters, encircling West Lake and extending northeastward in a synclinal fold. The entire plain is crisscrossed by rivers and canals, forming a dense water network characteristic of China's typical Jiangnan water town landscape. Hangzhou lies within the Qinhang Mineral Belt, a significant polymetallic mineral zone in the province, boasting abundant and advantageous limestone resources.
Hangzhou ranks among China's Eight Ancient Capitals and is designated a National Historical and Cultural City. Its history traces back to the Xiao Shan Kua Hu Qiao Culture of the Neolithic era. The Liangzhu Culture, dating over 5,000 years ago, is hailed as the “dawn of Chinese civilization.” Qiantang County was established in 222 BC (the 25th year of King Zheng of Qin's reign). During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, the Kingdom of Wuyue established its capital in Hangzhou in 893 AD, ruling for 86 years. In 1129 AD (the third year of the Jianyan era of the Southern Song Dynasty), the imperial court relocated south to Hangzhou, renaming it “Linan Prefecture.” The city of Hangzhou was formally established in 1927, and the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government was founded in 1949.
Notable tourist attractions include the West Lake Scenic Area, Xixi National Wetland Park, the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal (Canal Scenic Area), Thousand Island Lake, Su Causeway in Spring Dawn, and Curved Courtyard Lotus in the Breeze.
